People move. That’s just part of modern life: the world is small, and people are moving.

It’s not that simple though, is it? Because people are complicated: we settle, get rooted, build relationships, adapt to culture…and then leave again. And it’s not easy.

This website is for people who move, have moved, or will move; who come from mixed cultures, or who live in a culture that is not their own. This is for TCKs, MKs, and Expats, for the nomads and travellers that would struggle to pinpoint ‘home’ on a map.

I hope you learn some new words here, and hear some stories that speak to you. This site’s purpose is to give you the vocabulary to wrestle with questions about your identity and your place in the world, while reminding you that you’re not alone.

I hope that these pages are as hope-filled, comforting and constructive for you as they have been for me.
